Statio was created to slow down and think about each movement of my paintbrush. It is often described as a holy pause. A simple definition of Statio is pausing to be prayerful. In contemporary language, statio is mindfulness prayer. It’s an unhurried moment to appreciate God’s presence through silent prayer or meditation on Scripture. It is the moments between the moments. It is an original painting created with beeswax, oil paints, and damar resin on a cradled board. Embellished with crushed glass, burned silk, pigment sticks and pan pastels balances the intensity of its elements to create a harmonious and impactful visual experience.

Local customers: in gallery pick-up and/or free local delivery is available. Extra large paintings requiring a truck delivery will incur an additional delivery charge.
