This piece is about the exploration of perception and reality within surface and depth. The reflective surfaces created adds a dynamic quality, creating shifts in perspective. Despite its apparent simplicity, "Appearances" carries a subtle complexity that invites contemplation. It is an original painting created with beeswax, oil paints, and damar resin on a cradled board. Embellished with foils, pigment sticks, and pan pastels evoking harmony where each element contributes to a cohesive visual experience.
